Macro Photography: Photography that makes photos of smaller things portraying them larger than they are in real life.



Working Distance: the distance between the front of a lens and the focal plane



Focus Stacking: is a digital image processing technique that combines multiple photos taken at different focal points to create a single image with a greater depth of field



Reproduction Ratio: is the ratio of a subject's image size on a sensor to the subject's actual size.



Optical Anomalities: imperfections in a lens that cause light rays to not converge at a single point
