the Games?

Factors that contribute to this are the fact that a lot of these events happen very quickly. The video

photos and these sporting events. Another factor is the amount of photographers and how
competitive this field is.

2. Describe the technological advancements that have revolutionized sports photography

during the Olympic Games.

The main technological advancement that revolutionized sports photography is the internet. Now,
more people watch and read about the Olympics through digital platforms instead of physical ones
or through in-person means. This means that photographers have to edit and post photos on social
media platforms and other new outlets quickly. The video said some can do this in as fast as
58 seconds.

3. How do Olympic photographers ensure they capture iconic moments that will stand the

test of time?

An example of how they insure good pictures of iconic moments is the shutter speed they choose.
They have to make sure they freeze the action while still keeping the quality good. Additionally, the
editing needs to be spot on as it is a big part of photos nowadays.
