Weekly Vocabulary

1. Triptych: is a group of three photographs in photography. The photographs are usually arranged with a plain border between them.



2. White balance: a camera setting that adjusts the color temperature of an image


3. color cast:  an unwanted tint of a color that affects the color balance of a photographic image.

4. ambient light: any light that is not added by the photographer.

5. Dynamic range:  the ratio between the maximum and minimum values of light that can be measured in an image
