Artist of the Week- Stephen Frink

1. How’s the  composition? The composition is great. You can notice many small details about the photo almost as though you are seeing these images in real life. 2. What do you find interesting  about his work? I find it interesting how he is able to capture stories  in his pictures, for example the one with the scuba divers says a lot even though it is just a photo. 3. How is the technical quality? The quality is great and like I said there are many small details in his images that makes it clear that the technical quality is great.

1. Triptych:  is   a group of three photographs in photography .   The photographs are usually arranged with a plain border between them. 2. White balance:  a camera setting that adjusts the color temperature of an image 3. color cast:    an unwanted tint of a color that affects the color balance of a photographic image . 4. ambient light:  any light that is not added by the photographer . 5. Dynamic range:    the ratio between the maximum and minimum values of light that can be measured in an image

1. Wide Angle Lens: This is when a lens convers a large angle of view. 2. Reciprocity in photography: This is the relationship between ISO, shutter speed, and aperture. 3. Open shutter photography: This means taking a image while the shutter is still open which causes anything that is moving to blur. 4. Long exposure photography: A technique that involves keep the shutter open for longer than usual. 5. Light Painting Photography: the art of setting exposure times to be very long and using light to paint on images. 

Artist of the Week. Jan. Leonardo

 The composition is great you can see how much detail she put into photographing the light. It looks very clean and his light art photography is spectacular. I find it interesting how he is able to make so many unique photos that are equally interesting. I feel that I would run out of ideas eventually, but Leonardo does not seem to run out of visually appealing ideas. The technical quality is amazing. He is really able to use his resources to create a great image while truly using his equipment to its full potential. My top 2 images:
