Artist of the Week- Richard Avedon

 

1. The technical quality of his photos is amazing and is able to catch a lot of details.

2. The composition is spectacular and each images is able to be seem as if we were there in person.

3. I think the photographer connected with the subjects because even though sometimes they look tense, I feel like it is a planned tenseness and not an awkward tenseness.

4. Yes, the facial expressions of each of his subjects tell a story even if its as simple as they are having a good/bad day.

5. I find it interesting that a lot of his photos are people in a plain background and he still manages to make his photos interesting to look at.
