 1. How is the technical quality?  The technical quality is great. There are many details that make it obvious that he put a lot of effort into having a good technical quality. 2. How’s the composition?  The composition is amazing.  Despite photographing in black and white, each of his photos are unique and tell a story. 3. What do you find interesting about his work?  I find it very interesting how he photographed a variety of retro subjects that really depict older times.

Film Review-Tom Carrolll's Lost Photographs of the rise of Pro Surfing

 1. Pro surfing and the want to slow down the moments as photographs inspired Tom to travel the world and capture photographs. Additionally, he was previously a pro surfer. 2. He described it as his way to make sense of it all. As I said, Tom believed that this was the way to slow down moments, tell stories, and show the history of his sport.

 1. The technical quality is great. You can see all the effort he puts into each of his photographs that reveals the small details that add to the quality of photographs. 2. The composition is amazing and all the aspects of the image are combined in a way that makes his photos interesting.  3. I find it interesting that he chooses the photograph certain things such as soup cans or bottles. It is also interesting how he seems to make his photos look a little cartoonish instead of making them very realistic like other photographers.
